Art for me is a great exploration and education. Creativity is, in my belief, a fundamental necessity. My work has been influenced strongly by nature and the natural environment as well as myth, legend and my own meditative visualisations. I trained as an illustrator and diversified after graduating from university into painting and sculpture. I enjoy creating narrative, figurative and abstract work. I have focused on the nude recently as I have been teaching life drawing and been lucky enough to study the figure and develop works from those studies.
